Privacy Policy

When you sign up for TrackThisPrice, we collect:

• Email address — used to send your magic link and optional weekly digest.
• Phone number — encrypted at rest. Used solely to send SMS price-drop alerts you have opted into. We do not sell, share, or use your phone number for marketing unrelated to your tracked items.
• Product tracking data — the URLs, target prices, and price history for items you track.
• IP address hash — a one-way hash used for rate limiting. Cannot be reversed to identify you.

• Sending SMS price-drop alerts when a tracked item hits your target price
• Sending the optional weekly email digest of your tracked items
• Affiliate commission tracking when you click a buy link

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose not listed above.

• Twilio — receives your phone number to deliver SMS. twilio.com/legal/privacy
• Resend — receives your email to deliver emails. resend.com/legal/privacy-policy
• Supabase — hosts our database in US-based infrastructure. supabase.com/privacy
• Amazon Associates and other affiliate programs — when you click a buy link, the retailer receives a referral identifier. No personal data beyond what the retailer collects through their own site is shared.

We do not sell personal data.

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. To request account deletion, email contact@trackthisprice.com. We will delete your email, phone number, and tracked items within 30 days of your request. Anonymised aggregate price history may be retained for service improvement.

You opt into SMS alerts by providing your phone number at signup and completing phone verification. You can stop all SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message, or by disabling SMS alerts in your account settings. Reply HELP for support.

Your phone number is used solely for price-drop alerts and service messages related to your account. It is never used for promotional marketing unrelated to your tracked items.

EEA and UK residents have the right to:

• Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold
• Deletion — request deletion of your account and associated data
• Portability — request your data in a machine-readable format
• Correction — update inaccurate data via account settings

TrackThisPrice uses a session cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use tracking, advertising, or third-party analytics cookies.

We will notify you by email of any material changes. Continued use after notice constitutes acceptance.
